Are you up for a Challenge? 31 Days of December Challenge What do you have to do?  Do 1 thing per day that would further your business.  This might be a blog post, Facebook note, tweet, text, phone call or email.  It could be a newsletter, event, or postcard. blogging: Do you debate, ignore, or delete comments that disagree with you??? - 12/20/10 03:30 AM

How do you treat comments to your blog post when someone disagrees with you???  Do you :           1.  Debate/Challenge them ?           2.  Ignore them ?           3.  Delete them ?           4.  Or just so thanks for the comment.... Now, we could be here all day and debate this question.  ;o) ...but I wanted to share on how I look at this. I personally love any comment that will disagree with me or those that semi agree, but disagree. Especially when I do one of my numbers posts, comparing FHA loans vs conventional loans. Why? blogging: Are you throwing your Klout around ??? - 12/15/10 03:56 AM

So what is Klout ??  The Klout Score is the measurement of your overall online influence. I am new to this system and not an expert, but I am starting to understand it gradually.
Your Klout score can range from 1 to 100 and the higher scores just represent your sphere of influence online. Klout uses up to 35 different variables from Facebook and Twitter which measure your True Reach, Amplification Probability, and Network Score.

Active Rain has been very good to me in so many ways. It's been a long journey with some ups and downs, but the end result has been better than I could have imagined.
I first joined Active Rain on October 1st 2006 all because Brian Brady had been pushing me for like a month to join. I am so glad that he pushed. Back then, I thought I joined when there were only like 5,000 members or so, but it says that I was member 8,218.
I didn't submit my first post until October 5th.  How many closings … (14 comments)

blogging: When writing a blog post, should credit be given where credit is due??? - 10/19/10 02:31 AM

We all hear the term pay it forward. This phrase could be used in several different ways. It could be lending a hand, advice, or reaching out to someone or something. It could be volunteering yourself and your time. But what about those that give you a blog post idea, could this be considered paying it forward?  I think so...
When it comes to writing a blog post, sometimes we get our ideas from reading someone else's post and even sometimes a comment. There are times when I have actually seen the author of a specific post give reference … (20 comments)
