Networking, networking, and networking...... What does it all mean? In my opinion, you need to be open-minded about new ideas and attack them before everyone else jumps on the bandwagon. You also need to be consistent in who you network with on a weekly or monthly basis. Lastly, you need to have a few different outlets in regards to networking and not putting all of your eggs in one basket per se. We have heard many market reports that 2007 was bad and that 2008 might be worse. For some, 2008 has been a great start, but has slowed down. Do you have a game plan for 2008? Do you have a business plan? Or are you just putting your head down just praying that it gets better?

I have been reading several blogs that talk about branding yourself or marketing yourself. But after reading these, they all seem to talk about the same thing. In reality, there is an actual difference between the two.
A brand is a name, logo, slogan, and/or design scheme associated with a product or service. Brand recognition and other reactions are created by the use of the product or service and through the influence of advertising, design, and media commentary. From wikipedia.

How creative are you in your marketing strategies? Do you brand yourself? Do you change up your image? Your name? How you brand yourself?
I have been following Google since Christmas and how they change their logo on each holiday. The last one that I wrote about was in regards to Google + Earth Day = Marketing twist & creativity.
