What are probably the two most important things in regards to a mortagage settlement?  Having that loan close and close on time??
 
Sure, a good deal would be the no brainer. And no, not the best deal. Here is my definition of a very good deal. It's not based solely on interest rates and fees. It would be a combination of :
good rate and low to no lenders fees (anything under $500) an on time settlement with no hitches (last minute change of rate and or fees) educating the consumer of the process - good explanations along … (19 comments)

How important is communication to your clients?  To the consumer?  Are you the type that says that you will get back to them in 5 minutes, but it turns out to be 3 hours?  How do you set your clients expectations?  If your borrower either heard something from your office or from another person, do you just agree with it, or do you find out what was discussed first, before you say okay.

How many of you out there start your search on the internet when it comes to buying a home or refinancing your current home?  You do a few weeks of research trying to find that lender or real estate agent that not only gets back to you in a timely manner, gives you good information, but that you feel good about them because they seem honest and caring.
