News travels fast, especially bad news, and all because of the internet. We have Twitter, Facebook, Yelp, and other online sources where people can report negative issues.
Consumers sometimes think they do a good job at shopping for specific services when they actually don't. Because information is so readily at our finger tips, they just dive into the main course, almost like if you were to eat with your fingers, but not use your silverware.  Same issue with using the internet. I feel like I am about to play back a broken record. But I received an e-mail today with this link. More bad decisions by G.E.
Here is my initial problem with anything that is put out there for the consumer to read. It's one-sided, yet is sounds like good opinion and advice. hhhmmm...  Exactly that, it's an opinion that sounds like fact, because of the figures mentioned.

TAKE CHARGE..... should be everyone's motto in the mortgage and real estate industry. Not only educating consumers, but those that we work with. Many of you, as myself, have become fed up with people in our perspective roles. These individuals either use 'trust' as a weapon against a potential client and or 'seduce them' with false promises.
Another concern in the last year has been those individuals that are either not knowledgeable in their profession or those that purposely withhold the solution to a problem just so they can make a quick buck.  Please read this post by … (71 comments)
