haddonfield: Speechless Sundays - Is Jeff Belonger crazy nuts? - 01/30/11 09:27 AM
<<<<January 29th, 2011 Okay, so I am nuts... but for those that know me, I love my snow. Yes, I love my summers and the beach also.... but one of the reasons that I still live in the New Jersey area other than family (parents / nieces & nephews) and Philadelphia sports teams, is because of the snow that we get. And in the last 2 years, been getting more snow than in a long time... last big snowfalls... 1994 & 1995... and before that... the late 70's. Last year we got like 73 total inches

haddonfield: Customer Service & Advertising -- At what cost.... - 12/06/07 08:47 PM
At what cost can poor customer service and misleading advertising have on your business? Yesterday afternoon I was too lazy to make lunch, so I decided to order pizza. I had some coupons that came from my Sunday paper last week. I am really not know as penny pincher, but I do look for deals from time to time. Don't we all? In any case, I wanted to see if I got a side of cheesy bread, how much would I save. So I add up the Cheesy bread of $4.99 to the pizza price of $15.99. Guess what the total came

haddonfield: Bankruptcies - Knowing what to do after the fact - 07/22/07 11:37 PM
Bankruptcies can sometimes not be avoided, depending on what happens in your life. I am not here to judge you at all. My job is to help you understand your current position and to help you with any future considerations when it comes to your financing options. What I want to cover is if you have already gone through a Chapter 13 or 7 bankruptcy. So many people that did fall on hard times sometimes think that their lives are over with. This is not always the case, hence why you need to speak to a mortgage professional. One option

haddonfield: Renting vs Buying -- Knowing your loan options -- Part 3 of 3 - 06/22/07 02:58 AM
So you have been told that you qualify for a home. You are so excited, just thinking about this daily. You finally will own your own home with a piece of property. You have been told by many to just ask for a 30 year fixed rate. Maybe you don't have much money to work with. Maybe you have 30% to put down on the property. You actually know that this is a starter home and that you will probably only be in the house for 4 to 5 years, because you would also like to have another child. GOALS..... I

haddonfield: Lunch with Ravi Shah....... - 04/19/07 02:12 PM
Well, after ... what Ravi, about 6 times asking when you are available for lunch? ..... we finally meet. I have been trying to meet with Ravi since we started talking back in December of 2006 because of Active Rain. But with the holidays, then my move to a new company back on January 21st, and a few other things, we finally did meet. I did invite him out to meet Rob Robinson and myself back in mid March for the tip off of March madness. But Ravi was busy. So everyone, Ravi Shah and I met for lunch yesterday

haddonfield: How did I lose that client!!!! - 12/09/06 09:25 AM
Every now and then I am sure many of us, even after going the extra mile, just can't seem to capture that one particular client. This goes back to a client of mine that was recommended by a realtor, but at the end, wanted to choose their own mortgage company. Was my rate higher? Was my service lacking? My follow up not up to par? None of the above. Quite frankly, when they told me that they decided to go with another lender, who was actually a local bank, they said they were impressed with my follow up throughout the process. My

haddonfield: The strength of Active Rain & "you" as the community........ - 12/05/06 11:11 PM
Today was an interesting day. Marc Blasi started us off with a blog yesterday which I took to the next level. Since then, there have been about 4 other blogs that have been featured, related to the topic that Marc had discussed. Rich Jacobson had made a few comments in my blog,New Group Confusion - Part 2... A spin off blog. - Retaining new members on Active Rain, which happened to have been opposite of what my blog was about. He challenged myself and other's on Active Rain to be patient. You need to read the blog to find out more. But
