Why do many advertise. To make money, right? You have to spend money to make money. But are some ads deceptive or misleading? You betcha. What about the little giveaways or gimmicks offered when people advertise? Aren't they spending more money on top of the money that they are spending on their advertising? There is a very large company that does tax returns who also has a mortgage division advertising on t.v. now. If you close on a loan prior to December 31st, 2010, you will be entered into a contest. I have been in the mortgage business for 17 + years. I have seen so much advertising when it came to mortgage companies and how many of the ads were misleading or just flat out lies. Those companies advertising low rates that didn't happen. This easily went on from 1992 to 2002. I always wondered why this wasn't regulated as strongly as it should have been. I found out that some of these companies had 100's of complaints, yet they still operated for those 10 years. … (47 comments)

How much crap can one take anymore!! Wait a second on that one... actually, how much crap can one dish out there nowadays. With the mortgage industry changing guidelines and pricing hits on rates at alarming clips, does that just leave the average loan officer with an easy excuse when they just can't do your mortgage now? Is 'crapy' excuse behind door number 1? Is it door number 4? Could there be a 'crapy' excuse behind all 6 doors? From what I have seen out there, you betcha your bottom dollar, that's if you are able to even hold onto that. … (15 comments)
I just want to educate people about mortgages and the process.
In regards to lending, I am very creative, intuitive, honest, and one who communicates information, may it be good or bad. I am a loan officer that looks out for your best interest.
