I am always surfing the Internet and there always seems to be those blogs and informational pieces that are not just opinion, but completely misleading and wrong. And for the most part, that's how rumors start.
When it comes to FHA loans, I will state this.... I am not god, I am not perfect, and I don't know everything. But I will say this, I would think that I am very good at what I do, that I am knowledgeable, that I think outside the box, and if I don't know something... FHA loans & FHA mortgages -- I have always said that it can't be easy to shop for a mortgage. With so many loan officers and lenders making promises, how do you know who is telling the truth or not? Sure, many people can sound so trusting and honest. My advice, compare at least 3 loan officers, but don't compare just on the lowest rate. That could probably be the biggest mistake that you would make. FYI... anyone can promise the lowest rate and or fees and even put it on paper. But remember, it's not always worth the … (14 comments)

Mortgages in the general scheme of things should not be that complicated. It starts with the loan officer though, as I explained in Part 1 of this series. I really have never cared for the term sales or sales person, but that is what a loan officer is, a sales person. But the problem is that so many act as a sales person, wanting to sell you a mortgage. Consumers & Borrowers, please read this !!!
I have noticed in the last few months that some loan officers and lenders are getting more desperate than ever before. In my 16 years of being a loan officer in regards to mortgages, the consumer needs to be aware of knowing when to seek help from another loan officer and not wait until the last minute. It's one thing to trust, it's another to be lied to or misled to.... and not just by accident.

My problem? News that is misleading or not the truth. News from sources that aren't that reliable. Stop picking Joe Wannabe who sounds like a professional in the mortgage industry or the real estate industry. Stop interviewing people that really have no clue or who are one-sided.
