Alert - I know some of you hate doom and gloom. This is not to be a negative post, but a awake up call and I will explain later why I make this statement.

The Home Buyers Tax Credit has come up in the news and in discussions again. It seems to be an addiction and such talk could further hurt our economy. You might ask, how is this? Just thinking about this, could keep potential home buyers on the fence longer. If a buyer could imagine our awesome government handing out more money, our money, the tax payers money, why not wait 3 to 6 months, right? Everyone loves free money, I know I do. But at whose expense?

Can it be any worse out there? If you haven't heard, as the credit crisis continues, there are tens of thousands of jobs being lost just on Wall Street alone. And with a few mergers in the near future, there will be more jobs lost.
Is consumer confidence down? You betcha !! The Dow Jones is down over 500 points just today, the most since 9/11 in 2001. This is because of fear of a deepening of a year long credit rout caused by hundreds of billions of dollars from write downs and losses worldwide.
