red flags: Mortgages & Real Estate -- Red Flags that consumers need to be aware of - revisted - 05/17/08 03:34 PM
How many of you at one time or another bought a house or refinanced your mortgage and ran into one problem or another. May it have been the realtor who was not able to give you the correct answer or the loan officer who strung you along and then changed things last minute. I have never said that I am perfect or that I know it all, but it does come down to honesty, integrity, knowledge, and very good service. What about you first time homebuyers that have never experienced buying a home or refinancing for the first time. I

red flags: Misdleading or false advertising - The reality of the truth - 04/03/08 02:04 PM
Times are frustrating. We have been in a changing real estate/mortgage market in the last 12 months. As a lender or realtor, you really need to think outside the box at times, but in good consciousness. As a consumer, you don't know who or what to believe or trust at times. Not everything written on the internet or in an advertisement is true or accurate. So then what? I have been reading a lot of blogs and watching some TV commercials that make me sick to my stomach. Just remember..... the cheapest or best rate doesn't always mean that it's the best deal. So how do we make sure that this doesn't happen to

red flags: How busy are you really? --Customer Service -- From an FHA Expert - 06/12/07 02:36 PM
After I lured the client in, calling them back on time, many follow ups with e-mails, they are now committed to me. HURRAY..... Not only was I very NICE, but I was always available and helpful. But wait, you now have been trying to get a hold of me for the last 2 to 3 days. You leave me messages and e-mails. Maybe you just assumed that I am very busy, because I seemed so helpful. That I have so many customers. Maybe I called you back and said I am busy, that I will get back to you later. But
