PANAMA CITY, Florida (December 29, 2008) - The Panama City-Bay County International Airport team announced today that the construction at the new Panama City-Bay County International Airport continues to run smoothly and is currently about 3 and a half months ahead of schedule.

This is a great article by Sam Portman on the Condo Market in Panama City. I was at this auction and it was very exciting to see so many units sold at one time. Much to my advice not to do so, my buyer tried to negotiate a lower price after the auction on BULK units in a closed door meeting and the developer was less then pleased. He would not even discuss it. I do think if you have the money, now is the time to buy.

Wow things are coming along at the NEW Bay County International Airport in Panama City Beach. See this great article below.
The construction of the new Panama City - Bay County International Airport is ahead of schedule. The entire 1300 acres of the initial footprint is cleared with crews to start paving the main entry way from 388 in the next couple of weeks.
The recent approval of the state budget that included $12 million from the state will fund the first extension of the runway. Day one of operation for the new airport will include a full 10,000 foot runway. … (1 comments)

I am trying to find out if it is common practice in other areas to show a listing and provide feedback for the other agents?
In our area, that is what is supposed to happen, or maybe its just what I do to provide that extra bit of customer service.
When I show someone homes, condos, etc. I gather the list of what they want to see, I set my appointments and clip all of my MLS sheets together in order of how we will be seeing them, with any notes made on them about the showing, time of showing and where … (5 comments)

This just in....
According to the Panama City - Bay County International Airport Authority, the U.S. Second Court of Appeals has lifted the stay that limited airport construction. The hearing was held Friday in New York.
The airport is set to relocate to a site in West Bay, off Highway 388. The New York City-based National Resources Defence Council, Defenders of Wildlife, and Friends of PFN are suing to stop the project. The groups filed a lawsuit arguing that wetlands will be destroyed by the new airport.

Well today Randy will go in for his 10th brain surgery, they will put an ICP monitor in his brain to figure out why he has so much pressure and to see if they will need to do a skul expanding surgery next week. please continue to pray for him.

We in the Panhandle of Florida have been waiting for this day for about 5 or so years and it is finally here! How excited we are that we are finally going to see history made in this great part of the nation!!
