Localism Help Needed

Hi everyone!

I just created a post for my active rain blog and it did not appear on the localism site. I double and triple checked everything and it appears I made my selections correctly for it to appear on localism. Does anybody have an idea as to why it did not appear? My last entry on July 31 appeared. In fact, all my previous entries are on localism.

Risk Management Fee??

Season's Greetings Everyone!

As of December 1 I will be part of a local KW team. I have spent a couple of hours going over KW philosophy, training, and other pertinent information with the office manager. I believe making the move to KW is a smart decision in order to see my business flourish.

I am a little concerned about something though, this office charges a "Risk Management" fee. It is $299 for listing (you take the lisitng) and $149 for the buyer (you bring the buyer) per transaction. She told me most clients whether selling or purchasing do not mind the paying the "fee" since it will keep the broker, the agent, and the buyer/seller out of court in case the deal goes sour. She mentioned that this fee pays for mediation and letter writing. I have never heard of this before. Do other KW offices charge the "Risk Management" fee? Can someone give me a little more info on this.

Thank you all for your time and input.

HELP! Email trouble...Grrrr...Grrr!!

Hello everyone!

Maybe some one here can help since it is the weekend and TP tech support is closed. Grrr!!

I am having email trouble. No matter what, whatever email I have in my business/go daddy email account when I look at it through TP I will have MANY copies of certain emails. I do not understand. I can have up to 100 copies of the exact email from someone. Now, when I log into my business.go daddy account there will only be 1 copy. Why does it show soo many when I check it through TP??? I have deleted the excess and have emptied the trash in TP therefore only 1 copy of the email should be showing in TP, but that is not the case. PLEASE HELP! I hope I make sense.

Also, whenever I email my COI or SOI through TP I always click on the link at the bottom to "request a read reciept" I never get any notification back. I have called everyone up to make sure my emails are not going into their bulk or spam folders and everyone says the get my emails and read them. So why don't I get any type of automatic notification back??

I am still under the trial period, but if this glitch is not resolved I will not pay for this service.

Thanks everyone!

100 Days question.

Good evening everyone!

Since I am in dire need of direction and training I would like to make the commitment of joining the 100 Days to Greatness. Since my office uses Mike Ferry's training materials I am wondering if I could attend the 100 days to Greatness at another office without leaving my broker's office to join the one that is offering the Buffini course. In other words can I attend the training without being an agent for that particular broker/office?

I have been using the lead generation kit for less that a month. I did send out my first IOV on August 15.

Sorry if I did not explain myself clearly. I appreciate input and advice with this question.

~Jenn~

Note card question...

I appreciate this encouraging group very much! I have a question for you all.

I have been a Realtor for 5 weeks now. I do not have any clients/friends/family/sphere of influence that I would consider A+, A, or even B. I think most of them are C's. They say when they know of someone looking to buy or sell they will pass my name around. I do thank them for that. I have put all of them (50) on my CAP and have sent them all their first "Item of Value." Without rambling my question is this, should I send them a note card too? If yes, what should I write?

Thank you all for your consideration...Jennifer

Oh by the way...

Hello everyone! I am new to this group and have been lurking for a week now. I have enjoyed to informative inormation here...thanks.

I have a question for anyone that can help me out. When I ask friends and distant family members the following: Oh, by the way...if you have a friend or family member that is looking to buy or sell do you have a realtor you refer them to? Sometimes they will tell me that there sister in law is a realtor or there best friend is and so on. I let them know that is for whatever reason it does not work out with those other realtors I am never too busy for their referrals. On the other hand, if they tell me no, they don't know of any other realtors, but me I then say great I am never to busy for their referrals. My question to you all is this...am I responding correctly? I sometimes think this is my quick canned answer. I don't know how to get any further in the conversation.

Thank you for your time, consideration and help.

~Jennifer~
