Angler alert! The waterways of the Chesapeake Bay will be filled with anglers hoping for the first big catch of the 2009 Rockfish Season. Sleepy marinas will wake up from their long winter nap and be buzzing with anxious fishermen. I wish all my fishing buddies a safe and productive day on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Fishing season starts in about an hour! Wow! What a great turnout by the residents of our Association. It was great to see all the concerned citizens of Breezy Point in the room. It was great to have the Sheriffs Department, Calvert County Parks and Rec. So sorry Linda Kelly couldn't make due to a family emergency. Look for a letter from the community association regarding all the topics we talked about as well as all the answers from the representative of Calvert County on what can happen in the short term and what we can look forward to over the summer.
