I woke up this morning at 6 a.m. on Thursday in Baton Rouge, LA and to my surprise it was snowing. In southeast Louisiana snow is something that you don’t see very often, maybe if you are lucky once every 5 years! Dropped the kiddie off at school only to have turn right back around and get her. See, since we are not use to snow the schools close because Baton Rouge’s roadways can not handle the snow and further more people do not know how to drive in snow.

You found the picture perfect home, made a great offer and it got ACCEPTED!!!!! Wonderful, but most buyers wonder now what? You will want to hire a professional inspector to come out and inspect the home for you.
Whether the home is brand new construction or has some age to it, always hire a inspector. Hiring an inspector is like having an extra set of trained eyes looking for potential hazards in the home and code violations (and yes even new construction homes have been found to have code violations).
