In todays struggling market it is hard to focus on the positive when your bank account is in the negative. With all the fees and marketing we have to do it is hard to stay ahead! Don't get me wrong, I know plenty of Agents who thrive with the challenge and actually succeed in a down market.
Don't let Real Estate get you down right now. Keep active and try this...
I started another business right as the market went south (here in Nashville,TN). My boyfriend was an Operations Manager for a liquidation company a year and a half ago and was miserable to say the least. I encouraged him to quit and start his own liquidation company. With that said to him I had no idea I too would be doing it along side of him. We started out buying palettes of new clothes and selling them at the place where it was being stored and at yard sales. The yard sales were the money makers. Before long the yard sales were bringing in over three thousand dollars a weekend. WOW!
I am telling you this because you too can have yard sales and help your bank account until your next closing. Try it! If you live in the Tennessee area e-mail me for more details. The palettes are anywhere from 300-1000.00. If you have a little money to invest in the product it will sell itself and you will have doubled or trippled your money in a weekend.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Jennings
