This is the field just before the flag.  If you notice the line of people on the left sideline, they are the flag bearers.
 

This was the scene at the Washington Redskins vs New York Giants football game.  It started with Lee Greenwoods song " Proud to be an American" then Taps and followed with the National Anthem.  Everyone was unified as we were and have been for the past 10 years.  I hope you enjoy the photo

Walking that fine line - 09/08/11 11:43 AM
I am talking about what you are willing to do or spend to get a listing sold.  I am not speaking of the normal advertising stuff that agents are expected to do, I am talking about going above and beyond what is normally the agents duty and crossing into what is the sellers responsibility to get it sold. 
We all know that we don't get paid unless the home is sold and goes to closing.  Are you willing to do any of the following

There has been debate over the use of the agent photo on a yard sign.  I an not in favor if it for a couple of reasons
1- Safety.  We all know there are people out there who want to do harm.  What better vehicle than driving a neighborhood, seeing the yard sign of a pretty agent and calling pretending to be a buyer and requesting a showing.  I know we have all been taught not to meet a client at the property and to have them come into the office first.  But assume the listingis near your home, you are … (4 comments)

What is the difference between a short sale and a foreclosure
Short Sale - The home is worth less than is owed to the bank and there has been some sort of hardship event in the borrowers life which caused them not to be able to pay the mortgage.  If you are in this situation, consult with a local attorney.  Most often, the attorney is paid by the lender at closing, so not being able to afford one is not a good excuse.  While you are probably behind in your mortgage, a short sale is neither credit positive or negative.  The … (1 comments)

Front Door or Roof - 09/07/11 11:29 AM
I live in the Raleigh NC area and as I am s=ure you are aware, we had Hurricane Irene hit the coast of North Carolina about 10 days ago.  Lots of people have damages thru storm surge.  They are under the misconception that normal home owners policies will cover these losses
I am a realtor, not an insurance guy, but what I have been told, when it comes to water, depends on howit comes inside.  If a storm tears off the roof and rain gets everyting wet, you are covered, but it the water comes in thru the front or back … (1 comments)
