isabelle: Activerain's Youngest Member Update. - 01/29/09 09:07 AM
As some of you may not know, Activerain's youngest lives in Myrtle Beach, SC. It has been a while since I have updated you on Isabelle. She just recently turned 8 months old. Two teeth have magically appeared in her mouth and her new favorite things to say are da da da da da and ba ba ba ba ba. Sitting up on her own is no longer a problem and crawling is becoming the newest task to master. That should be accomplished here in the next few weeks. To finish this update, I will leave you with some pictures.

isabelle: A new friendship has been made that will last a lifetime. - 12/14/08 09:23 PM
The last few months has been nothing but a whirlwind in my life. As I have written on numerous occasions, on May 19th my beautiful wife and I delivered our first child, Isabelle Grace. Since then, I have shared about all types of wonderful things she has done or experienced. The other day however, while my wife was decorating the tree, she was able to video tape her playing with her best friend. While my wife and I can make her smile and laugh, nobody does it quite like her friend Hannah. Enjoy this short 30 second video of her wih

isabelle: My first 6 months of being a Parent & how it relates to Real Estate- A Parity - 11/20/08 10:45 AM
I find it hard to believe that yesterday Isabelle turned 6 months old. It feels like it was yesterday when I found out I was going to be a father. Over the past 6 months it is amazing how much things have changed. Hours can be spent playing with her & not even realize the time has passed by. I never imagined finding so much joy & love from such a small package. Hours can be spent playing with her and enjoying her presence. Her bright blue eyes are enough to bring joy into anyones heart. She has reached the point

isabelle: If you thought Doogie Howser was smart, check out this Child Prodigy! - 11/01/08 10:21 AM
You all remember the show, with the child prodigy doctor. If not, this should refresh your memory. Well, the other day, my wife decided to sit down at my laptop while I was making up some dinner. She was holding Isabelle, who has always had a keen interest in watching her daddy type on the computer. I think she likes the bright colors on the screen. Well, while my wife was sitting there, Isabelle quickly leaned in towards the keyboard and decided to press a few buttons. My wife believed she wanted to send me an email. So, she opened one

isabelle: Baby Belle goes to her first wedding! - 10/18/08 08:38 PM
Ok, so I know some of you want to see pictures of my little girl so from time to time I try to please the masses. Like I just wrote, we are currently in Atlanta for my Brother in Laws wedding, so here are some pictures of the little girl. Personally, I find her to be the most precious & beautiful little girl in the world. Of course, I may be a little biased, but then again, since I am the daddy, I can be.

isabelle: Fatherhood 20 weeks flown by and life changing by the moment - 10/11/08 08:13 PM
Isabelle is now 20 weeks old. She is now sleeping well through the night and is growing like a weed. She is starting to master the art of sitting up and has become much more social. She loves to smile and giggle at her mommy & daddy. Also, she has found a very fond love for her puppy Hannah. At her last Dr. visit she weighed in at just over 14lbs and was over 26" long. It is amazing how my life has changed. Things are definitely for the better and I cannot imagine life without our little bundle of joy.

isabelle: 16 Weeks and Sitting Pretty...well Almost - 09/13/08 04:25 PM
16 Weeks of being a dad... Wow, time has really flown by. I can still remember driving to the hospital for delivery. Over the past 16 weeks we have had all sorts of fun an exciting changes take place my life has changed almost as much as Myrtle Beach Real Estate has.. It is amazing how so many small things will entertain us as parents and warm our hearts. The little girl is working on sitting up and getting pretty good at it...as long as we prop her up in the corner or surround her with pillows. She has finally noticed

isabelle: 11 weeks already? Sheesh! - 08/03/08 05:49 PM
As many of you know, my daughter was born on May 19 at 11:15 am. What is amazing that it has already been 11 weeks since her birth. Man time flies. I know everyone says that before you know it they will be heading off to college. I am beginning to think they are right. I can remember the trip to the hospital, the entire delivery, and everything just like it was yesterday. But instead of yesterday it was 11 weeks ago and since then there have been all sorts of joyous things happen. We started a few weeks ago capturing

isabelle: Boy how time flies!!! - 06/30/08 11:48 PM
Today I read Adam Waldman's blog about his son titled "Good Job Little Man~Welcome Home!" and it made me stop and think. Man, these last 6 weeks have really flown by! I remember like it was yesterday the birth of my daughter and how my Life was Forever Changed. Within just a few days I found myself "In Love with 2 Women." Today my little princess turned 6 weeks old. I can't believe it. I remember waiting anxiously for her to come and how she was being a mischief and not wanting to come. Finally we had to serve her

isabelle: Happy Father's Day Pop-Pop - 06/10/08 01:37 PM
With Father's Day coming up this Sunday, this year I have a special new understanding for the holiday. This will be my first Father's Day as an actual father. Granted, last year I was a faux father to my furry daughter Hannah, but that fails in comparison to my new role with Isabelle. As I have began this new thing called fatherhood, I began reflecting back on my father and my grandfathers. I am lucky enough to still have one of my grandfathers still living. We call him Pop-Pop. Pop-Pop is the one who the whole family calls when there is

isabelle: Hire a Professional Photographer! - 06/02/08 03:06 PM
As many of you already know, we had our baby girl on May 19th. One of the presents we received was for a photo shoot with a professional photographer to be done before she is 2 weeks old. On Saturday, my wife & Isabelle met with Lynn Crawford for this shoot. Below are some of the many wonderful pictures that were taken. Lynn did a fantastic job!!! We are so pleased with the results. If you are in the Myrtle Beach area and need a photographer for family portraits, engagement photos, wedding pictures, contact Lynn! Maybe you are in need

isabelle: Its OK to love 2 women at the same time! - 05/24/08 05:22 PM
For the longest of time I thought I would only ever have one woman in my life that I would love. That one woman would be my wife. Now don't get me wrong and don't get all bent out of shape. My wife knows I have a second female in my life now that I am in love with and she is ok with it. As many of you know, my wife gave birth to a beautiful little girl last Monday Morning. As so many stated, you think you only can love one person so much until they are born

isabelle: Life: Forever Changed - 05/20/08 11:00 AM
Yesterday morning at 11:15 AM my life forever changed. My wife gave birth to the most beautiful little girl in the world. Of course, Daddy is a little biased, but isn't that what daddy's are supposed to do? Everything with the delivery went beautifully and both mommy and Baby Isabelle Grace are doing wonderfully. She was 7lbs, 5 oz. and was 20" long. All tests have been perfect on both mommy and baby. Hopefully we will be heading home tomorrow sometime. Thanks to everyone for their prayers. I know that my life will be forever changed. From the newest & Proudest

isabelle: I have to serve my first Eviction Notice - 05/16/08 11:06 PM
Unfortunately, on Monday of this week I have to serve my first eviction notice ever in my life. I thought at a few times over the years I was going to have to give one to a tenant or two that rented one of my personal properties, but never actually had to follow through with the paperwork. The worst part is that the person I have to serve the papers for is my own daughter! As many of you know, my wife and I are expecting our first child any moment. The problem is, she is being stubborn and

isabelle: Happy Mothers Day...Well almost - 05/10/08 03:21 PM
As many of you know, my wife and I are expecting our first child any day. I have received several wonderful emails asking if Isabelle was born yet or not. Currently, my wife has dilated 4 cm but she has been like that for almost 3 weeks. Her actual due date is Monday May 12th. I was hoping she would come before tomorrow so that my wife can truly enjoy being a Mother on Mother's day. Unfortunately, I don't know if that will happen, but even is she doesn't come, I still will think of her as a wonderful mother already.

isabelle: Only four more weeks! - 04/14/08 10:49 AM
Well, today the countdown reaches 4 weeks till my daughter's due date. We have been feverously preparing the nursery, getting the bags packed for the hospital, doing our birthing classes, and of course the wonderful walking & exerciese. I believe my wife and I are about as prepared as we can be, but as I am so aware already, this is one thing you can never really be totally ready for. On the other hand, I cannot wait for the next 4 weeks to fly by so that Isabelle Grace will be here! Once she does arrive you can guarantee some
