the blanton team: Selling as a FSBO Can Cost More Than a Commission - 08/29/08 11:41 AM
As a Real Estate Agent I hear all types of Horror Stories about deals that have gone bad, and all types of crazy things that have happened. One of the couples that was helped by our real estate team had one of these stories. They were a nice couple, looking to sell their beautiful home on a golf course. Home had excellent view, had been meticulously taken care of, and was in "model home" condition. These people contacted us because they were in a major dilemma and after sharing it with a neighbor who were former clients of ours, urged them

the blanton team: A Night at The Pool- The Farm at Carolina Forest~Myrtle Beach, SC - 08/11/08 09:51 AM
Over the weekend we had some of the most beautiful weather here in Myrtle Beach, SC. Since I have been so busy the past few weeks with real estate, my wife decided it was time for us to do something relaxing. So she suggested we go to the pool in our development. We have been delaying going to the pool this summer because of Isabelle's birth and not wanting her to get overheated, or sunburnt. But, with the cooler temperatures in the low 80's, it was the perfect time. So, we changed into our suits and headed for the amenity

the blanton team: Why should I buy a rental property in Myrtle Beach? Nobody can afford a Vacation! - 08/09/08 09:37 AM
Over the past few months I have received numerous calls from buyers interested in purchasing some sort of rental property here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Usually after a few days of phone calls and and emails, I receive the ominous reply.... "We just don't think buying a rental property is a wise decision at this time." What?!? Now is one of the best times to purchase Myrtle Beach Real Estate! Is my normal response. I then begin to share how prices have dropped here. For example, Sand Dunes III in Myrtle Beach has seen over 21% decrease is price!

the blanton team: My Lunch with Jason Crouch - 08/07/08 01:55 PM
Today was a rare day where I Actually was able to have a lunch. With the latest increase in business of Myrtle Beach Real Estate, we have been so very busy with buyers, listing 3 new listings and everything else. I have been burning the oil on both ends by coming into work at 8AM and flying straight through to 8PM. Some days I noticed I missed lunch while on others my stomach let me know, but there was just no time. So, today, we had a buyer cancel out and so it opened up the door for lunch. One

the blanton team: A General Contractor like never before... - 08/06/08 08:36 AM
Here in the Myrtle Beach Area, one of my favorite General Contractors to work with is Bartlett Contractors. They build some of the most beautiful custom homes in our area. Their attention to detail is second to none. Aaron, the president is a full hands on owner that isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. Their company has over 45 years experience in building homes and other buildings. They were recently hired to do the building of our new church. But, the real reason that I enjoy these guys is for reasons like the one

the blanton team: Sand Dunes~ Myrtle Beach Real Estate - 07/16/08 02:50 PM
Sand Dunes III is a wonderful resort complex located in the heart of Myrtle Beach. It is one of the more popular choices in Myrtle Beach Real Estate. All units in this complex are 3BR/2BA units and have over 1,200 heated square feet. No matter which unit you purchase, views of the ocean are unhindered from your spacious balcony. This was accomplished by placing the parking garage on the first 5 floors of the building and angling the building to give each unit a great view. If you are looking for a condo that is close to everything, Sand Dunes III

While on vacation in Austin, Texas I was on a mission to recruit a new member for our Real Estate Team. Many people heard about my recent web expansion by adding a new blog titled www.myrtlebeachhomesblog.com. Along with this new great internet presence I knew I would begin fielding many more sales calls & listings due to the new site. So, in preparation, I have hired my newest team member. His name is Caelin. Caelin seems to be very energetic, pleasant to work with, and very passionate about whatever he is working on. I have noticed though he seems to have
