I'm happy to announce that as of October 2008 based upon MLS statistics we are no longer in a buyers market and we have transitioned into a neutral market. To be what economist call a buyers market you have to have more then 6 months of inventory of homes for sell, which we have had for the past 18 months. But as of October we now have 5.6 months supply of inventory, which is what the same economist call a neutral market. This is when the market conditions neither favor the buyer nor the seller.
