I don't know if I'm trying to keep up or trying to stay young but I just joined twitter. jdon112 funny the first 30 names I tried where taken. now my question is how do I tie it together with facebook and my other sites? I can use  some help. 

The Maple Shade Fireworks will be held on Saturday the 27th of June this year at The High School. They start at dusk. Come early there will be some entertainment. 

Last week on Saturday morning Maple Shade had it's first farmers market at the center of town in Gazebo Park. Wow what a great start with about 18 vendors and a very happy group of customers, who were thrilled for something like this to happen in there own town. The market was initiated by the new Main Street organization. The market will be held every Saturday through October spaces are only $10 for vendors. If your interested in selling your wares you can contact Cathy Saparito at 856-667-3305 for information and an application. If your interested in just checking out the market please stop by, it opens at 8Am and closes at 12 noon rain or shine.

I am writing today about the difficulties of fund raising in this present economy. I am a Rotarian and being involved in fund raising in my own local area I can say that our normal fund raising activities have to be off at least 25% this year over last year. It's not that people don't want to give but rather just can't give as much.  Our club has now for the first time taken to the web and posted our fundraisers on our new site www.mapleshaderotary.comwe have also just been approved for a gambling license and our first raffle a Super 50/50 will hopefully help compensate for our lower revenues this year. On August 9th there will be an event just for Kids Sponsored by Main Street Maple Shade Inc. This will be the first New event sponsored by the new organization that was created with Maple Shade's Main Street NJ desegnation. It will be Held at the Gazebo at the center of town from 2 to 5 PM. It will be a day of fun with a pirates theme geared for the under 12 age group. So if your in the area stop by with the kids.
