After doing extensive research on GMO foods, Monsanto, and Codex Alimentarius I was disturbed to find that most people I speak to have no idea what any of these topics mean and how wide spread it has become right under our noses. This topic effects each and every person in the world that consumes food that is not organic. Many countries are now growing Monsanto frankencrops and GE foods that is already posing a serious problem of contaminating the nearby farms of natural crops. After my research I learned that on several scientific studies some of the findings are quite disturbing:
The mice refused to even eat the tomoatoes and had to be force fed. By the third generation all the mice were sterile. When the Genetically altered food is consumed it passes through the stomach and effects the DNA structure of the consumer. The DNA structure becomes altered and through each generation the DNA genetic structure ia effected differently with no set pattern and causes damage in a variety of health problems. Some of the results from the lab experiments resulted in the following: an increase in cancer cells, an environment that allows for cancer cells to grow more easily, liver damage, premature aging, early death, allergies, fatigue, damage to reproductive organs.
