The Hudson Valley Green Fair in Rhinebeck NY Was A Hit - 04/28/08 11:30 PM
The Hudon Valley Green Fair
On April 26th and 27th the Hudson Valley Green Fair was held at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck NY.
The Dutchess County Board of Realtors had a booth at the fair and many local agents provided coverage.

It was a great opportunity for real estate agents to get familar with some of the green products that impact the industry.  I spoke to many of the vendors such as:
Spire Architecture a firm that specializes in green design. Decor & You - Cyndi West Decor Designer.  Agents- you might be interested in her Realtor "thank you" program. Archibald … (17 comments)

So are you still doing real estate? - 04/20/08 04:43 PM
So are you still doing real estate?
This is a frequently asked question- whether I am in the supermarket, getting my car serviced or just having lunch in one of the local restaurants.  I could just say yes and leave it at that but I use the opportunity to explain why I am still doing real estate in the Mid Hudson Valley
People enter a profession for various reasons. I am a Real Estate Broker because it is something I really want to do.  I point out to people that  unlike the dot com companies that faded away when the dot com bust … (34 comments)

Shoe Covers Don't Show Houses without them - 04/01/08 07:55 AM
Shoe Covers Don't Show Houses without them
I must admit right now I don't have a supply of shoe covers with me when showing homes, however this item is rather inexpensive and a great tool to have on hand.

Why would you want to have this little item? We are now in the spring season and it can get somewhat muddy.  This will give the homeowner peace of mind that dirt is not being tracked in on their nice wood flooring or carpet.  The reason that stands out for me is I have watched seniors struggle with removing their shoes … (31 comments)
