When I was new to real estate, I was sitting at the closing table when the buyer leaned over to tell me that at the walk through she had discovered that under the beautiful rug in the living room there was just plywood, yes plywood. This was such a shock to me. I think this was my second listing, the rest of the room had such beautiful flooring, it never crossed my mind that I should have looked under the rug. Last Monday I listed a small village home; there was alot of activity and by Saturday I had an offer. This was great news to the seller who wanted to sell the property but realise this could have taken many months because of the present inventory level. To move a property these days the seller need to go the extra mile, this property was built in 1900 however it was well kept, freshly painted, neat, and even the basement was broom swept.
