hyde park homes for sale: Hyde Park NY Real Estate Market Report For May 2011 - 06/11/11 11:58 PM
Hyde Park is a very historic town; that is how I started my report for April. At that time I mentioned the library, but did you know that FDR even with his large estate saw it fit to build a hide-away? This cottage was designed by him and was built in such a way to accomodated his wheel chair . This cottage is known as Top Cottage, and after years of being a private residence it is now a public space that can be toured. During May in Hyde Park 6 homes sold, ranging from $149,350 to $244,000. Below you will find

hyde park homes for sale: Hyde Park NY Real Estate Market Report - February 2010 - 03/09/10 09:40 PM

hyde park homes for sale: Hyde Park NY Real Estate Market Report - December 2009 - 01/10/10 11:57 PM
In 2009 the town of Hyde Park had one of the most affordable inventory; because of this Hyde Park was one of the Dutchess County Town averaging more sales than most. This is a market that saw many first time buyers who trying to beat the original November 30th deadline for the end of the $8000 first time tax credit. Good news this tax credit was extended and expanded and so I expect more first time buyers will be looking for a home between now and April 30th. Why is the Hyde Park market attractive? 1. Location minutes from Poughkeepsie

hyde park homes for sale: Hyde Park Real Estate Market Report - April 2009 - 05/16/09 07:31 PM
Hyde Park Real Estate Market Report For Single Family Detached Homes - April 2009 In April there were 9 sales in the town of Hyde Park. The sale price ranged from $4,500 - $330,000. Yes $4,500 , and that was not a rental but the price of a mobile home. Of the 9 sales 4 of them were short sale or banked owned properties. Hyde Park does have a healthy inventory of homes from $100,000 -S300,000 so it represents a great opportunity for first time buyers to make that purchase and benefit from the $8000.00 tax credit. hyde park homes for sale: Hyde Park NY Real Estate Market Report July 2008 - 08/11/08 10:04 PM
Hyde Park Real Estate At the time of this report there were 147 active listings in Hyde Park NY with properties ranging from $11,500-$3,200,000. These properties ranged in age from 1850- 2008 . An analysis of the data showed that most of the properties sold were in the $200,000 range. I recently compiled a Dutchess County report by town to show how the real estate market has done over the last 6 months when compared to last year, this report is worth considering. Hyde Park is a major Dutchess County destination mostly because of FDR library and the special events held at

hyde park homes for sale: Hyde Park NY Real Estate Market Report June 2008 - 07/04/08 08:36 AM
Hyde Park Real Estate In 2007 only East Fishkill and Pougkeepsie had more home sold than Hyde Park. The number of homes sold were 163 and this was probably due to the fact that the area had more affordable homes. The median price was $250,000 and was just $25,000 higher than Amenia which had the lowest median price in Dutchess County. During the month of June there were 9 closed sale, and for the year 58 units, which is about a third of the total sales last year. What does this mean? for the period from July-December about twice the number of
