The Migliorelli Farm recently opened a farmstand on the outskirts of the village of Red Hook, located just accross from the Rhinebeck Savings Bank on Broadway.
For years I went by this little building and thought it was ideal for a farmstand, over twenty years later it has happened.
The Migliorelli Farm is one of the local farms and presently operates another farmstand near the Kingston/Rhinecliff Bridge. This new stand on Route 9 could not have opened at a better time. red hook commons: Red Hook Commons - Seniors Moving in - 10/06/07 10:13 PM

I have written in the past about the need for senior housing. I also wrote about the construction of the Red Hook Commons which was being built to serve this need. Well, I am happy to report that seniors started moving in over a week ago.
Today, I stopped by and chatted with a few of the new residents and the overall response was they were very happy. One senior had moved back to be near her son and grandchildren. RED HOOK COMMONS - RED HOOK
In early December I did a post on the construction of the Red Hook Commons as you will notice what a difference a couple months make. This facility will probably be ready for occupancy in the summer and the application process will get started in another 4-6 weeks.
This complex when completed will consist of 96 units and is being done in 2 phases. These apartments will be very affordable, the monthly cost ranging from $285-$663.
