In Rhinebeck during December 2011 7 single family homes sold, the same number sold in Rhinebeck during December 2010 . The range of homes sold this year was: $105,000-$675,000 while in 2010 it was $339,000-$1,525,000.
The average price of the home sold was: $302,500 in the town and $257,000 in the village. In 2010 the average price was much higher; $720,780 in the town and $422,000 in the village.
Now that 2011 has ended it was reported that 51 single family homes listed on the Mid Hudson MLS sold in 2011. 35 of these homes were in the town and 16 in the village.

During November 2011 the number of homes sold in the Town of Rhinebeck and the Village totaled 4. How did this compare to same time last year? Would you believe it, 4 homes sold in Rhinebeck in November 2010. Back then the price range of the homes sold was $267,000-$607,500 this November the range was a bit lower $215,000-$408,500. The month closed with 4 homes in contract and 1 with an offer.

The homes sold ranged from $159,900-$400,000. The most expensive listing was a home on River Road; as the name implies it is near the Hudson River. The home is listed at $2,950,000.

The Rhinebeck New York Real Estate Market Report for September 2011 revealed 6 sales, 2 less than in September 2010.
The homes sold in Rhinebeck ranged from $95,000 to $468,000. The $95,000 was a home sold as is and was a seasonal cottage. The most expensive home was from 1830 with square footage over 2000.
In September the Village had no single family detached sales, however there are 2 homes in contract.

Rhinebeck NY real estate market in August 2011 had 4 sales between the town and Village, that was one less sale than in August 2010.
During the month 8 new properties came on the market in the town and 1 in the village. These homes ranged in price from $155,900- $1,369,000. The oldest house is one presently in contract. It was built in 1849 and is located on one of Rhinebeck's most scenic roads, River Road.
Besides the single family detached home sales, 1 townhouse sold in Rhinebeck for $323,000.

In Rhinebeck during the month of February 3 homes sold ranging from $410,000-$574,500
February 2010 market report showed just 1 sale, the home sold for $68,000, needed TLC and was only 850 square feet. A year later the average square feet on the homes sold was 2400 with average selling price of $486,500.
The village did not have any sales in February however there were 2 homes under contract and 1 with an offer.

During the month of April the Town of Rhinebeck and The villages of Rhinebeck had a combined sales of 2. So far this year there were a total of 9 sales up to April 30th.
The sale price range for the 9 sales were: $195,500 - $850,000. Athough most of the sales in the County is in the $100,000-$300,000 range Rhinbeck had 2 sales in the $800,000 range thus giving it an average sale price of $428,586.
