During January 2011 3 homes sold between the town and village of Rhinebeck NY.  There were 6 new listings  3 of which were million dollar properties with the most expensive at $9,800,000.  Due to the million dollar properties the average list price for the 6 properties in the town of Rhinebeck came in at $2,838,483.
But how did this January report compare to same time last year? In January 2010 7 homes sold between the town and village of Rhinebeck.  The average sale price in the town in 2010 was $$418,500 this year it was $170,000.  Last year in the village the average sale price was $182,750 … (3 comments)

 During the month of November there were 4 homes sold between the town of Rhinebeck and the village; 1 less than in November 2009.  The homes sold this year ranged from $267,000-$607,500 and last year  from $293.000-412,500.
It was also good to see a multi-million dollar property that was on the market for over a year and a half go under contract.  The movement in the million dollar properties was also noticeable in the Red Hook market. 
In Rhinebeck there is a wide variety of properties for sale and this is a good time to buy.  Mortgage rates are still relatively low … (8 comments)

During the month of May the Town of Rhinebeck and the villages of Rhinebeck  had a  combined sales of 3, with a price range of $285,000-$447,600.
Looking for a million dollar home? there were 14 properties available from $1,125,000-$5,500,000  
First Time Buyers seems to be a major player in todays's market.  In Rhinebeck there were about 30 properties in the 200,000-300,000.
