In Rhinebeck NY during December 2010 7 single family homes sold with price ranging from $339,000-$1,525,000. In 2009 there were 4 sales between the town and village with a price range of $320,000-$1,150,000. Below is a comparison of 2010 to 2009 as well as a detail report of the market activity for December 2010. At the bottom of the report you can also request a report of graphs showing the changes in the market from 2007-2009 for the Rhinebeck market.

The recent real estate data for Rhinebeck NY showed a rather quiet market.  There where just 2 sales in  February , 1 in the town and the other in the village.
It was noted that the sale in the town was only for $68,000 a property needing TLC and was less than a 1000 square feet.  On the other hand the house sold in the village was over $200,000.
 Active listings ranged in price from $205,000-$1,100,000 and square footage from 1064-3400

During the month of January 2010 there were 5 sales in the Town of Rhinebeck and 2 in the village.  Of the 12 active listings 7 were priced over $ 700,000 and 4 of those over $1,500,000.
If you are considering selling your Rhinebeck home this is a good time to do so, of course it is important to make sure the house is in condition that will attract buyers.  With that in mind now would be the time to do some spring cleaning.

It is hard to believe that the summer is winding down and the student will be starting a new school year.
A quick check of real estate in the town of Rhinebeck and the village still shows a very high inventory.
There are about 82active listings, so there is a lot of opportunity to find a home in Rhinebeck  Only 3 properties have closed so far this month, the most expensive was $ 1,235,000in Rhinecliff up the hill from the newly renovated Rhinecliff Hotel.  The lease expensive was $ 332,500 on Route … (9 comments)

It is time for the monthly market report.  Since it is also half way through the year I have also provided you with the figures for the period January - June 2008.
I also looked back over the report for 2007 and during that year 37 properties were sold in the township of Rhinebeck.
The data for this report was obtained on June 30th; at that time 18 properties had sold so far this year.  From this information I concluded that the number of sales by the end of the year should be around or better than last year. … (7 comments)
