sheep and wool festival in rhinebeck: Catch the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck - October 18 - 10/17/09 11:56 PM

Today driving through Rhinebeck you would have experienced slow moving vehicles. Passing by the Dutchess County Fairground you would have noticed a sea of cars; this was as a result of the Wool and Sheep Festival.
Although it was a bit chilly it was a nice fall day and for those who did not want to be outside there were also many indoors exhibits. The Wool and sheep Festival is always a two day event so if you missed today don't worry the exhibits and vendors will be open for business tomorrow Sunday October 18th.

sheep and wool festival in rhinebeck: Saturday night in Rhinebeck with my boys - 10/18/08 10:24 PM

This morning I made a reservation for dinner at the restaurant at the Rhinecliff Hotel. Let me back up a bit; for our 25th wedding anniversary in 2006 our children gave us a gift certificate to this restaurant. The opening of the hotel had been delayed and today was the first time since it opened that we could make it.
The trip to the restaurant should have been rather short however there was a lot going on in Rhinebeck this weekend. The largest event was the Sheep and Wool Festival at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. I had a couple of routes I could have … (26 comments)
