Due to these renovations, the Manderach Memorial Playground will be completed closed Monday, September 28, 2009 and remain closed until Spring of 2010. Along with new playground equipment, a Memorial Clubhouse will be designed using some of the original playground equipment as a tribute to the volunteers who built the playground. A rededication of the Manderach Memorial Playground will be scheduled in April 2010.

Rates on 30-year mortgages fell recently to the lowest level on record after the Federal Reserve launched a new effort to stimulate the struggling U.S. housing market.
Mortgage finance giant Freddie Mac said Thursday that average rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages dropped to 4.85% last week, from 4.98% the previous week. This was the lowest in the history of Freddie Mac's survey, which dates back to 1971, and was down a full percentage point from a year ago. These are truly historic times and they present a great opportunity to anyone who is thinking of buying.

Delinquent Mortgages Set to Nearly Double in 2009 The number of consumers with delinquent mortgages is poised to almost double by the end of next year, hitting its highest level in at least 16 years, according to a leading credit bureau.
TransUnion LLC, which analyzed about 27 million consumer records in its database, predicted that the proportion of consumers with mortgages that are 60 days or more past-due will hit 7.17% in the fourth quarter of 2009.
