I recently did an inspection for a couple in southern Ohio. A beautiful home that fit there needs well. The home had one interesting feature that turned me green with envy.
On the lower level it had the Horseshoe. No not a horseshoe, "The Horseshoe".
This is the entry to the OSU room. It isn't a mural, it is all hand painted.
Imagine someone sitting down and deciding to do a whole room like this.

O S U - 72 Eastern Michigan - 20 Sept. 25
It has been a long time since OSU scored 72 points, but how do you tell the second and third string not to score.

It's almost time. The first game is on September 2, and all of the Buckeye supporters are chomping at the bit. We play Marshal in the (now traditional - Big Ten vs Mid-American Conference) season opener.
By the way, the preseason polls are out (I know, who listens to the pre-season polls) and Alabama is ranked number 1 with OHIO STATE ranked a solid number 2. The AP Top 10 are listed below for anyone interested.

As you can see the first game is with Marshall University and they will be in Columbus to win. This is one of those "Everything to Lose and Nothing to Win Games" that most larger schools play at the beginning of the season. All of the Big Ten schools have been adding MAC schools to their schedule, sometimes 2 or 3 of them. It is good for the MAC school because they usually get a good portion of the gate in a stadium that holds over 110k spectators.

Since there are only 68 more days until the season opener with Marshall, I thought it important to post the schedule for the Bucks. I know I might be jumping the gun a little, but we all must have our priorities.
The National Championship isn't scheduled yet, but we can guess one of the teams that will be there.

It has become a family tradition, Saturday in the fall, Football - Chili - (and just recently) Active Rain. I have watched college football on Saturday since I was 5 (when we didn't have TV we listened on radio). I started making chili about 20 years ago, but usually only on Saturday in the fall. About 6 months ago I started Active Rain and I do that while the other two are going on. Needless to say things are quite hetic in the fall at our house and sometimes I have to stop and look to see what I was doing … (7 comments)
