We all hate taxes, right?  Most schools in this area seem to have regular increases whether we like it or not and one of the higher taxed areas are getting hit again.  Northeastern School District taxes are going up 4.6%!  Click here for complete article.

I hate to talk about politics, but... - 05/05/07 12:29 PM
In the news recently, I heard about alot of our local politicians using OUR money to run commercials on TV.  They seem to feel that is a better way of reaching their people.  Only to the tune of around $6 Million last year.  It apperas to me that it is more of a "needing to be seen to be re-elected thing" to me.
1st they get all this money for their vehicles, plus mileage.  Most make 6 figures already and then they need help paying for their cars and mileage.  Now WE need to run their ads on TV for them!
