Mine are finished. Thank goodness! I saw on CNN that 91 percent have their taxes done by now. I guess that is of the people that have a computer, and go to CNN.com. But, that is good news. Most of us are very responsible. I noticed many new deductions that are the also good news. The home buyer credits, the long list of energy saving deductions. A few new or improved deductions helping with raising a family. 2010 is almost half over. Still, it is a good time to plan for taxes next year. The U.S. Senate appears on the verge of extending and expanding the first-time homebuyer tax credit into 2010. According to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs Web site, an agreement has been reached on a measure that includes these provisions: • Extends the $8,000 first time Homebuyers Tax Credit and creates a new $6,500 tax credit for homeowners buying a new home from December 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010.• Homebuyers with contracts as of April 30 qualify for the credit so long as they complete the transaction within 60 days.• Available to homebuyers with incomes of up to … (0 comments)

Active Rain Blog-Studio Many times when we are researching listings for a buyer, we see homes for sale that have maybe one or two photos. In some cases this is so the listing agent can get calls on the property. They do not want to show too much unless they can qualify the person who is looking.

Many of my agent friends have been sitting around talking about " the bottom of the market". Interesting. The theory is that at some point,home prices do cease dropping, and stabilize. Then at some point begin to rise. History tell us this will happen. Why are they waiting for this? They want things to go back to the “bubble” time a few years back.
