Speechless Sunday
A walk on the beach earlier this week found an abandoned child's bucket. I don't know if there was anything in the bucket, but this bird certainly was interested in it.

Just a half mile from where I live and work is Lake Murray, part of the huge Mission Trails Regional Park. I will often go to Lake Murray and walk.
Also not too far from Lake Murray is San Diego State University to the southwest and an 18-theater movie complex to the northeast. Lake Murray is about halfway between the two.
I'm thinking that a bunch of college students went to the movies, bought a little too much popcorn, and found something to do with it on the way home.

One of my favorite commercials right now is the GEICO commercial with Elmer Fudd.
Elmer was a favorite of mine when I was young, and I still like him, so when I was at the San Diego Zoo last week, I was reminded of Elmer Fudd when I was watching the California condors:
