If you don't know it yet, California is broke, but perhaps not as broke as the City of Pontiac, Michigan.
Pontiac officials announced recently that the City will auction off the Pontiac Silverdome, host of the Super Bowl XVI in 1982, as well as host of several other enormous events, such as Pope John Paul II's visit to America, the 1994 World Cup, and 1987's Wrestlemania, which drew 90,000 people, the largest turnout for an indoor sporting event.
