Free electronics disposal at SeaWorld,September 10, 2011
Those of us who have tried to recycle used electronics know that there is often a recycling fee, even though the electronics stores usually charge us a recycling fee when we buy the electronics (It's one of those add-on fees that you don't pay much attention to.).

Recycling tips

Of course, if you're in a hurry, letting them weigh them is much faster. Personally, I kind of like putting the cans and bottles in the machine and getting lots of … (9 comments)

recycling: How long does it take....? - 04/18/09 11:02 AM
I remember when I was younger and almost all fast food came in styrofoam containers and cups. Then someone determined that styrofoam takes a long time to decompose in our landfills. Then someone else determined that our landfills were filling up too rapidly. Then, with the advent of the microwave oven where cold fast food that was hot fast food when one left the fast food joint could easily be made hot fast food again when one got home, someone determined that since styrofoam takes a long time to decompose and that our landfills were filling up, we could probably do without styrofoam food … (16 comments)
