Sunsets and pelicans
On a clear day, like today, one of the best places to watch the sun go down — meaning beautiful sunsets! — is at Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach:

 
Along with some of the most beautiful homes in San Diego County, the cliffs are beautiful, and there's lots of wildlife, too. We went out this evening hoping to get a video of the green flash, but although we had a great sunset, it was not a green flash night. However, I did get a short video of a nice flock of pelicans:

Sunset at Sunset Cliffs
There are many great places in San Diego to watch the sun go down, but I've always thought that there still needs to be something else to provide perspective to the sun going down. With that in mind, here are a few of my favorite sunset pictures from last night at Sunset Cliffs:

One of the nicest places to walk in San Diego County has to be right along Sunset Cliffs. The road is curvey, the ocean waves are crashing below, the sunsets are beautiful, and if you get tired of walking, you can sit on one of the benches and just relax.

Wait just a minute folks! We have breaking news! All the benches along Sunset Cliffs are missing! Our news reporter, Zoey the Cool Cat, is on the scene! Zoey, what's the word out there?
