Sunsets from downtown San Diego
Now that daylight savings time is here, the sunsets are about an hour later, which means I have more time in the evening to get out to the coast and get in my daily walk and take some pictures, like these:



Those pictures were taken behind the San Diego Convention Center at Embarcadero Marina Park South looking west (obviously) towards Coronado Island.

San Diego sunset from La Mesa
I live just on the boundary of Mission Valley, but I'm up on a mesa, ergo, La Mesa. Being a little higher up than Mission Valley means there are more of the sunsets to see when they occur, and this past week has been full of spectacular sunsets.

What a long week and a long day, so I think a few relaxing pictures are in order. First up is Zoey the Cool Cat seeming to say that she approves of the new house:

Next up is a palm tree in the clouds. The clouds these past few days have been absolutely gorgeous.

There are many great places in San Diego to watch the sun go down, but I've always thought that there still needs to be something else to provide perspective to the sun going down. With that in mind, here are a few of my favorite sunset pictures from last night at Sunset Cliffs:

I was out near Pacific Beach the other night during rush hour, so I took a page out of my marketing guru's book and simply went to the beach to watch the sun go down:
