After reading soci@l and doing a review on Chapter 3, I now understand why people Tweet such useless information as:
going fishing at my favorite Lake Wassabee fishing spot. on my way to the downtown San Diego library to read the Washington Post if I don't get this door open quickly, I'm going to pee my pants (open the door instead of Tweeting! duh) I haven't set up a Twitter account yet, but I'm encouraged. I think I'll practice right here at ActiveRain:

Players in theĀ United States Open Tennis Championships, which begin tomorrow in New York City, have been warned not to be Twits by tweeting inappropriately on Twitter.
Apparently, Twitter Warnings signs from the Tennis Integrity Unit have been posted in the players' lounge, locker rooms, and referee's office at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Can you believe that "Twitter messages could violate the sport's anti-corruption rules"? Huh?
Andy Roddick, who is known to be somewhat outspoken, tweeted in response to the warning:
"[It's] lame the US Open is trying to regulate our tweeting.... I understand the on-court issue … (8 comments)
