Great post, Melinda. Very timely, colorful and spot on. We Norte Americanos could use a lot more history about our Mexican neighbors. That includes the fact that the American Southwest was stolen from Mexico in the War of 1848....which, at the time, Congressman Abraham Lincoln denounced as being premised on lies popularized by the then occupant of the White House.

Money is not the root of all evil. But trade in derivatives is the root of this recession.
