meridian idaho: Meridian Idaho’s Ten Mile Interchange Dedication May 17, 2011 - 05/17/11 03:24 PM

Even though the Interchange isn’t expected to be open for traffic until the end of the month, the official dedication is today.
The City of Meridian hosted the event. This is a huge benefit to the city of Meridian and eastern Nampa residents! Meridian’s Mayor Tammy de Weerd, has been working toward this project for many years. Also, in attendance should be Idaho Lieutenant Governor Brad Little and Idaho State Senator John McGee.
This should take a lot of traffic off downtown Meridian since with the growth of that area we really needed a new interchange to service the people … (0 comments)

meridian idaho: Fundraiser for Mountain View High School Football Team - Meridian, Idaho - 08/15/10 07:07 PM

Great money saving coupons for only $20 with proceeds benefiting Mountain View High School! My 14 year old son is trying to help raise money so the school can install artificial turf on their football field. We only have until August 20, 2010 to sell these so if you are interested, contact me ASAP. The entire football team was tasked with selling some great discount cards with discounts at local and national companies. meridian idaho: Meridian Idaho 4th of July Fireworks and activities - 07/03/10 01:14 PM

The City of Meridian and Meridian Speedway are partnering once again to provide the community with a full day of 4th of July activities. The event will be held in Storey Park on Sunday, July 4th starting at 1:00 pm with bounce houses, a climbing wall and an obstacle course available for kids.

Live local bands including Apple Thief, Craving Dawn, and Big Wow will start performing in the park at 3:00 pm and will continue through the evening. The Meridian Speedway races begin at 6:30 pm and the evening culminates with a spectacular fireworks show at dusk.
