short sales: New Short Sale Rules go into effect April 5th, 2010 - 04/03/10 04:00 PM

I just ran across a pretty good video produced by NAR that mentions some of the changes that will be occurring. It sounds pretty good and should definitely help.

short sales: Now is the best time to build a new homes in the Boise Idaho area! Cheaper than most short sales! - 01/09/10 12:05 PM

I have been a Realtor in Boise, Idaho for nearly 19 years and have never seen such a great time to build a new home! It will NEVER be this affordable again for the following reasons: Some lots are being sold at less than the cost to develop them (replacement cost are higher after these are gone)! Tax Credits. If you wait till May to write an offer, you will loose the tax credits! You can still write a contract by April 30th to build a home but it has to be completed and closed by June! short sales: Is your Short Sale lost in Banker's Siberia (BS for short)? - 09/09/09 12:45 PM

There are hundreds of posts (if not thousands) on ActiveRain alone about files being lost in the big void called the land of short sales. Nothing appears to be getting better from my vantage point.
Let's get the programmers of the world to create a standardized tracking system that would be open source that can be used cost effectively to track the status of these transactions online! Some of the Google Geeks I have met could probably write the source code in their sleep.
