According to a new White House report from the Council of Economic Advisors, Hawaii saw the addition of 11,000 jobs in the first quarter as a result of the federal stimulus bill. A study showed that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which Congress passed last year, created between 2.2 and 2.8 million jobs nationwide in the same period. The largest increase in jobs was seen in California at 340,000 and the lowest increase was in Wyoming with only 5,000 jobs.
