Maui Arts and Cultural Center

The Maui Pops Orchestra and guest performers are going to be presenting their annual Holiday Pops concert on December 2nd at the MACC, which is conveniently about twenty minutes from those who live in North Maui. This event is definitely a favorite of Maui residents who appreciate complex, beautiful music that unfolds right in front of them. The orchestra will be sharing holiday favorites in a festive atmosphere. This year, Ignace "Iggy" Jang, the guest artist and concertmaster of the new Hawai'i Symphony, will perform movements of The Four Seasons by Vivaldi. A number of Maui's finest musicians and vocalists will also perform, bringing you cheerful holiday songs that will surely fill you with the spirit of the season. The performers include Jerry Eiting, Jimmy Mac, Alexis and Steven Dascoulias, Erin Smith, Felicity Raugust, Jamie Lawrence and Lily Meola.

The Holiday Pops Concert isn't just entertainment, but it is also for a good cause. A portion of the ticket sales will be used to purchase gifts for clients of the Friends of the Children's Justice Center. The mission of this non-profit is to provide assistance to abused and neglected children, and these kids could certainly use some holiday joy, so you know your attendance will be good for the community.
