While everyone wants a deal in real estate, just looking at the asking price does not assure you of anything.
Most often, looking at a reasonable priced property and understanding how you could adapt it to your lifestyle will bring the greatest value.

Helping buyers in Montreal I'm often stymied when buyers express distaste at interior features while ignoring more big picture items.
Big picture items such as: location, house, bedrooms, number of bathrooms, operating systems and layout.
AND THEN,
out comes the fussiness regarding the kitchen cabinets, floor tiles, countertops appliances.
OR
Maybe it's a bathroom to renovate
OR
painting and flooring.
Result?
Some Montreal buyers actually drop the house and move on to another one!
