Went to a great party last night to preview the 904 West Ave Condos.  These condominiums are awesome.
Every individual unit has their own photovoltaic systems and tank-less water-heater.  This is a great way to control your energy costs and carbon footprint. 
These condos are in a very nice location so close to Local Businesses, Whole Foods, West 6th St and Downtown.
904 West is a small and cozy complex.  You don't have the stress of a huge high-rise.  Walk out the door and you are almost on street level.

Did you know that Austin Energy offers a cash incentive for your old 14-to-27 cubic feet refrigerator/freezer.
They will even pick it up for Free.  It does have to be working though.So what do you get when you turn it in.  You can get $50 dollars for the fridge per single family unit.
Why Recycle Refrigerators/Freezers?
First off it saves Energy.  Did you know that older models use two to three times as much energy as newer models do.So that means you save money.

If you are thinking about improving you home and you are an Austin Energy customer you can get a NO INTEREST LOAN ever loan.
This option lets you chose between a 3 or 5 year payback.
If you like you could pay the loan back in 7 - 10 years and you would have to pay a 3.5% interest rate.
This loan covers Efficient air conditioner, solar screens, attic insulation, duct sealing, radiant barriers and window film.

If you change out the inefficient lighting with new efficient lighting Austin Energy will pay up to 80% of these costs.  That includes the cost of the lights and the installation of the lights.  You will usually get your rebate in 6 months
Austin Energy helps by providing the contractors and they will conduct a free energy ananlysis of your property.  The will handle all the paperwork, inspect the contractor's work and help make this project hassle free.
