Recently I had a friend move to this cool neighborhood. So I decide to post about it.
Travis Heights is located in South Austin, Texas. It is bordered by Lady Bird Lake on the north, IH-35 on the east, Congress Ave. on the west and Oltorf on the south. In 1913 it was founded by Mr. Newning, Mr. Swisher and General Stacy. Development of the town started soon after in the 1920's. There was even a park named after General Stacy. It is located on Blunn Creek in Travis Heights and is named Stacy Park.

If you or your children love to explore new places, this is it.
The State Park is located in Somervell County Texas, Close to the town of Glen Rose. The Park is over 1500 acres and in 1969, was designated a National Natural Landmark. This is a great place to view the fossilized dinosaur footprints.
You can also hike, camp, picnic, fish, and swim. The area is full of beautiful scenery and wildlife. The coolest thing I think is the dinosaur tracks.
