Mistakes Will Happen - 01/27/12 05:37 PM
This week I experienced one of those awful moments when you realize you’ve made a huge mistake and you have to look someone in the face and admit it. This was especially bad because it was work related. Below is my confession: I have new clients who are looking for a property in the outskirts of town, on some land, newer construction etc. These people are as kind and easy going as they come. Hope - 01/25/12 12:03 AM
Yesterday I walked down what felt like a never ending basement corridor to get to my terminal to fly home from California. I have to admit it freaked me out a bit. Natural Gas Explosion in North Austin - 01/14/12 10:26 PM
Today I drove down Payne Avenue, past the home where a natural gas explosion occurred this past Monday morning. There were three people standing outside the safety gate, with notepads, talking with a Texas Gas Service employee. I stood there looking at the charred remains, wondering about this man's life. A jogger passed with her Border Collie on a leash. It was one of those surreal moments for me, when you feel like time has stopped and the world is circling around you. On Monday morning, a man was leaving to go for his morning bike ride
