Keep Moving Forward - 03/20/12 08:20 PM

To give you an update on my “accidental house” clients from a previous post, the story has a happy ending.  We ended up finding a beautiful home that is perfect for them.  Last week they put an investment property up for sale.  Within three days, we received SEVEN strong offers. 
One step back and two steps forward.  And so it goes…

Do you ever find it difficult to write in a book if it’s too beautiful?  I recently had a friend tell me that years ago she was given a special book to write her life story to pass down to her children, but the pages remain empty.  She said she just doesn’t yet know what to write. This struck a chord with me because I too, have a beautiful journal with gold lined pages on my book shelf, yet it is the spiral notebook that collects my thoughts.  It reminds me of china in the china cabinet, or the formal … (51 comments)

This Saturday, the kids and I took my brother Seth back to his home at Marbridge, after an overnight visit.  Instead of just dropping him off, we stayed to play a little miniature golf on campus.  It was unusually still, just an occasional person passing by from time, offering us friendly greetings.   We got our balls and clubs out of the gym and walked over to the nine hole course.
