The Seven Deadly Sins of Homeowners - 10/24/11 02:45 PM
The concept of seven deadly sins for people comes from the religious traditions of the Middle Ages and if commited will result in the detriment of the human soul. There are also seven deadly sins that homeowners commit that will result in the detriment of their property values. #1. Thinking you're going to own the home forever. Someone once said "Life is what happens when things don't go as planned." Situations changes like death, health, maritial status, economic pressures, neighborhood make-up` and the like occur without notice and result in the unplanned sale of homes, either by the owner or heirs. #2.

Both houses are well kept and updated, yet one sold for full list price in 35 days and the other, while it's now "pending" has been on the market 256 days. This is the house that sold for full list. Its general appearance and especially the landscaping produces a terrific "curb appeal." Anyone looking at photos on-line or driving by the property can't help but be
