 I'm guessing that by now the secret is out when it comes to many markets being over run by foreclosures and short sales. Here in Columbia, SC, we've been pretty lucky compared to the national average, but we do none the less have our fair share of bank owned properties.

 So you've decided to sell your house and you are well aware of the fact that homes for sale in your community have involved foreclosed properties. All those homes that sold in the past 6 months were bank owned and they weren't sold by an individual, but instead, they were sold by those evil banks that got us into this mess in the first place. Lately with all the talk and buzz about foreclosures, that seems to be the major starting point for most buyers. With nervous anticipation of claiming the deal of the century as their very own, buyers jump into the mix by immediately searching out foreclosed homes for sale in an effort to save money. All and all, I can't say that I blame them one bit. If I were in their shoes I would likely do the same in this day and age.
